Loads and loads of "manekineko", or lucky cat statues. One of the quintessential items in any Japanese (or Asian, really) gift shop. One item stands out, and that is, of course, Jiji: that's Kiki's cat in the incredibly enjoyable film Kiki's Delivery Service. Go watch it.
