It takes a long walk through a tunnel more than three kilometres long. The nature trails that exist alongside the tunnel, are fenced off because of overdue maintenance. Looking down the trailheads, it did seem unneccesarily dangerous to enter them anyway. It seems unlikely those paths will ever be reopened, so the walk to get here, is rather unpleasingly through a long motor vehicle tunnel. However, one could also take a very infrequent bus, or rent a bicycle.
