The Climb

I didn't go up Daisetsuzan, but I did go and visit the twin waterfalls Ginga no Taki, and Ryūsei no Taki (銀河の滝 · 流星の滝). These loosely translate as Galaxy Falls and Meteor Falls. After a good 15 minutes climbing, and loosing about 15 litres of sweat, one gets to get onto a small observation deck. From that deck, both waterfalls can be seen clearly through a convenient opening in the foliage.
