Gourd Hyotan Flask

These are sake flasks (徳利, Tokkuri) in gourd hyotan shape (瓢, Hisago). These are carry-on type of bottles, as opposed to the far more popular bulbous ceramic bottles (鶴首, Tsuru-kubi). The reason they're here, is because as many other shrines, sake is produced here. However these flasks are decorative only.
