This is an extremely simple onsen at the Bodai-ji site. Visitors can use this facility for free, but facility is a big word - there are none. The water is very sulfurous, and you will stink of sulfur for the rest of the day if you bathe here. However, the water is very smooth and of good temperature. Just keep in mind, not everone can handle the odour. I could, I don't think sulfur is all that bad. Just need to get used to it, is all.
