If you've never been to Buddhist Hell, and it'd be weird if you had, the only way to get a glimpse of the afterlife is to visit Osorezan. This is what it might be like when you pass away. Osorezan is one of those places to maintain beauty by its uglyness. It does resemble hell, after all.
