On my way through clouds of steam rising from the pond that lies in front, Oyunuma Pond (大湯沼, literally Big Hot Swamp). It's not frequently visited by tourists, as it's quite a way from the main attractions, and today required to walk on muddy slippery paths through some of the hills between the hells and the pond.
