I had a good time here at restaurant Daikoku Sushi (大黒寿司). The waitress was a friendly lady who speaks English very well, and was able to make some small talk with me during my visit. The sushi was fantastic, too. It's just across the station, on a corner of the street to the right, in case you're interested. And, indeed, sushi was not served on a plate. Just straight onto the counter.
