Thatch House

One of the 17th century thatch roofed houses from the inside. All houses may be entered, provided you take of your shoes of course. This is a very typical house of the time, in that its floor is risen from the natural ground, has lots of wooden panels, and tatami flooring. The clay structure in the foreground is a stove.
