Nanzenji Gate

The gate for the Nanzenji temple is its main attraction for sure. For a small fee, you can enter onto the balcony of this massive wooden gate and get a fantastic panoramic view onto the city. This gate was built in 1628 by the Tokugawa clan in memoriam of the soldiers who died in besieging Osaka castle in 1615.
