When you cross this bridge (as I have, standing where I was standing), you get into Kita Park, which is a reclaimed piece of land that has a university on it and a lot of water-related industry. But also, some bits nice enough to take a stroll. And so I did. It's about a half hour to walk from the station to here; good enough for me.
