Island's View

A small portion of Tashirojima's coastline with modern Japanese barriers and wavebrakers. The island's population might be in decline, but its construction is not. The island suffered considerable damage from the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, and reconstruction is still underway, even now, in 2016. It's still very much part of Japan, and the island will not be abandoned by the government. It must survive.
