On top of the sole mountain that comprises Ōkunoshima. Some say, the bunnies were originally brought here by a children's school project in the 1970's, setting out bunnies in the semi-wild. That and the poison gas factory story, might both be true. Unfortunately, what actually happened that spawned so many bunnies, has eroded through time.
