Ishikawa is the prefecture where its capital Kanazawa sits. A short train ride from there is a small town called Hakusan. A bit of a walk from the station is a museum, and that museum is all about insects. A kid-friendly museum with taxidermal critters, as well as live ones. These beetles in particular, are live. Crawling over top one other on a branch.
